Orthodontics
At AZA dental, we offer early orthodontic treatment for growing kids to treat a variety of dental issues found in developing teeth and jaws.
These problems include:
Crowded, crooked or misplaced teeth.
Protruding (“sticking-out”) teeth.
Increased overbite, underbite or crossbite.
Early or late loss of baby teeth.
Jaws that are not in proportion with the face.
The goals of early treatment are to encourage the jaws to develop to the correct size to make space for all of the permanent teeth and then positioning the jaws into their correct position during growth. Delaying treatment until after the majority of growth has occurred can make it more difficult to correct some orthodontic problems. For this reason, we recommend that a child be assessed for orthodontic problems by age 8 or earlier if problems are identified. Dental braces are devices used to correct crowded or crooked teeth, or a misaligned jaw, known as malocclusion.
Braces are most often used during adolescence, but more and more adults are getting corrective dental braces later in life to achieve a straighter and healthier smile..
WE OFFER DIFFERENT TYPES OF BRACES:
Metal Braces
Ceramic Braces (Clear Brackets)
Self- Ligating Brackets
Invisible Braces
Wearing a retainer helps keep your teeth in the correct place, so they don't move. Think of it this way: Braces straighten your teeth, but your retainer keeps them that way. They help your teeth “retain” their position.
WE OFFER DIFFERENT TYPES OF RETAINERS:
Hawley's Appliance
Lingual Retainers
Invisible Retainers
